This large fossil dragonfly is in great condition with lots of texture preserved beautifully. This is a great representative of the extinct family Liassogomphidae †. A very rare example in great condition.
The wingspan is an impressive 12cm!! This is an original genuine specimen NOT a cast or replica. The matrix the specimen is within measures approximately 190 mm x 95 mm. To support the fragile matrix a layer of protective resin has been added to the back of the fossil.
